Maen Watches, a Swedish brand known for crafting unique timepieces, is launching their new Manhattan 40 collection. This collection follows the success of their previous models, the Manhattan 37 Automatic and the Manhattan 39 Ultra-Thin Manual Wind. The Manhattan 40 features a larger 40mm case and an automatic caliber, offering a sleek profile of 9.6mm and a lug-to-lug measurement of 49.3mm.
The Manhattan 40 will be available in two standard models: one in midnight blue and another in copper/salmon. Both models will feature vertically elongated Côtes de Genève dials. Additionally, there will be a special-edition model with a dial made of green jade stone, a gemstone that symbolizes goodness, beauty, and wisdom.
Customers will have the option to choose between a standard-grade Sellita SW200-1 movement and a top-grade version of the same movement. The top-grade version is fully decorated with blued screws, perlage engraving, and rhodium plating. Both date and no-date versions will be available.
The Manhattan 40 comes with a stainless steel integrated bracelet that features a chamfer following the case lines and a twin-trigger butterfly clasp. The watch has a screw-down display back, allowing the wearer to admire the movement inside. It is also water-resistant up to 100 meters, making it suitable for sports activities.
A pre-order campaign is currently running, offering a discount. The prices during the pre-order window range from $732 to $1,481, depending on the model and movement grade chosen. Delivery is expected in late July 2025.
Maen Watches has established itself as a respected brand in the watch community, and the Manhattan 40 collection showcases their attention to detail and commitment to quality. With its larger case size, automatic caliber, and stunning jade dial option, the Manhattan 40 is sure to appeal to watch enthusiasts looking for a unique and stylish timepiece.
